I grew up in central Illinois and completed my Bachelor of Science at Illinois State University. I then moved to Colorado and completed my Master’s Degree in Social Work at Colorado State University. I worked in child welfare for over ten years. In 2009, I became a proud member of the Colorado Springs School District 11 Social Work team. It's my passion to provide students with innovative learning opportunities that help foster their individual growth. I enjoy hiking in the beautiful Colorado outdoors, reading, and attending my daughter’s sporting events. |

I am originally from Ghana, West Africa. I have lived in Colorado with my husband and two children for over a decade now. With a bachelor’s degree in Math & Statistics and graduate degrees in Business Administration and Curriculum & Instruction, teaching my students fulfills my passion for giving back to my community. Prior to teaching, I volunteered in schools, mentored 'first generation' American high school and college students. I also worked in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. I am excited to be a part of Digital High School family where I get to work with, share and learn from my students, colleagues and parents in ways that empower our students to achieve excellence. When I am not teaching, I love to Zumba, hike, cook, travel and experience new cultures. |

This year will mark the 15th year that I have the distinct honor of being the principal for The Digital School and Achieve Online. I’m also very fortunate in that I get to work alongside the very best teaching and support staff in the business! We pride ourselves on communication and can ensure you that your student will be completely supported when attending our schools. Feel free to call/email/text me as I love hearing feedback on how we can improve our educational practices. “Hakuna Matata!!” |

I am the school nurse for the Roy J. Wasson Academic Campus. I was born and raised in Colorado Springs, and I actually graduated from Wasson back when it was a traditional high school. I have been a nurse for 12 years, mainly working in outpatient settings at UCHealth and Memorial Hospital. My husband is a Colorado Springs Firefighter and is serving his 18th year in the Air Force Reserves. We have two kids - Sophia and Maddox. My family enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports including soccer, football, and golf. We also love spending time with the many close family members and friends that we have here in the Springs. I am looking forward to working here at RJWAC and this exciting new opportunity as a school nurse! |

I am from Arizona, land of many cacti. After graduating with my undergraduate degree at Northern Arizona University I began my teaching career in the lush state of Washington where I also completed a master’s degree at Western Washington University. Since then I have taught in South Dakota and Colorado. I consider Colorado my home and I am honored to continue my teaching career at Digital High School. My background in secondary education includes teaching music and providing holistic academic support and intervention to help students reach their fullest potential. It is my greatest passion to serve young people and to empower and equip them to think deeply, creatively and to lead well. Personally, I have been married for 25 years. We are parents to remarkable twins who we enjoy supporting in their extra-curricular activities. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, exercising, gardening, cooking, music, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family. |

I’ve been in D11 for many years and have enjoyed working with both elementary and high school across the district. I have been a vegan for the past nine years and am very passionate about finding new recipes and food substitutes that don't use any meat or dairy products. One day, I'd love to have my own food truck! I also really enjoy my veggie garden (so do the deer) but when all goes well, I find it extremely rewarding. I have two adult children and one grandchild who I adore and love to dote on!

I’m thrilled to be teaching to Digital. It is a place that empowers students and teachers, alike. Our staff is warm, yet they demand growth and progress for all. Our students are self-advocates who demand the world of education creatively evolves with the students it is meant to serve. I am honored to be part of this school! I have a degree in molecular biology and biochemistry and am a nerd for all things medical-related, especially the nitty gritty details at a cellular level. So, ask me any of your burning questions you couldn't find on Google or that you didn't want to ask your health teacher...! I am also passionate about embroidery, board games, and consuming burritos. |
